I originally developed the ancestors of Quincy 2002 to accompany a C++ tutorial book and as a project for the C Programming Column of Dr. Dobb's Journal . Quincies 96 and 97 supported development of Win32 console applications only. Quincies 99, 2000 and 2002 support development of Win32 console and GUI applications and Win32 DLLs.

The Compilers

As currently configured, Quincy 2002 works with the MinGW port of the GCC C/C++ compiler suite.
